One Year of Cinema Train

Today marks the first anniversary of Cinema Train. In turn, I’d like to thank you all. Thank you for reading, liking, commenting, and/or sharing anything that I’ve written over the course of the past year. Your support and feedback, especially from those of you who visit regularly, has been a huge encouragement to me and has made my first year of blogging a wonderful experience.

I’m going to keep the rest of this post relatively brief, but here are a few things that you can expect to see here in the near future:

-More reviews

-The continuation of current features
The Movie Report Card will continue each month. More indie films and filmmakers will be featured in Indie Talk. Also, I intend to revive the Essential Cinema series, which has laid untouched for many months.

-New features
Throughout the next few weeks, you’ll see the first installments in several new features.

-A director database
Finally, as I get more reviews posted, I will be creating pages dedicated to some of my favorite directors. If you’re curious, they will be a lot like this Wes Anderson page.

Once again, thanks for reading!

The director database sounds really cool! I might steal your idea if you don’t mind.

    • I guess June is a popular month to start a movie blog. I’m definitely planning on keeping mine going for some time to come. I enjoy reading yours, so I hope that’s the case with you too. :)

  5. Here here! Congrats to the CT for Year One ! Hard to believe that’s so, because this is a brilliantly maintained site. Seems like its been up for awhile. I’m sure it will be for a long long time. Nice work Garrett!
